Sumners partner with Maverick TV on large tapeless project
Sumners technical department have been working closely with Maverick TV to develop and support a workflow for a brand new documentary series production for ITV1 – Children’s Hospital.
This ambitious ‘ob-doc’ is being shot using Sony Ex3 cameras and recording XDCAM HD media to SxS cards.
Scoped to shoot upto around 500 hours of content Sumners have established a hierarchical storage architecture to support the data management requirements of the project.
The project is making use of the Avid AMA architecture for managing a file based offline/online workflow in a collaborative environment.
