Sumners dons a wig, waxes it's chest and puts on lipstick.................all in the name of charity!

Sumners were once again very proud to work with Peter Kay on his music video for Comic Relief 2011. Having already done numerous videos for Peter (including the 2007 Comic Relief video "500 Miles") we were more than happy when we got the call to work on "I Know Him So Well".
For all of you are old enough to remember, the song was originally released in the early 80's by Elaine Paige and Barbara Dickson. This version fetaures Peter as his female alter ego Geraldine and international singing sensation Susan Boyle taking the place of Elaine and Barbara.

One of the requirements was for the video to be almost identical to the original 80's version and careful consideration was given to making sure the costumes and the sets were as authentic as possible. The video was edited and graded by Matt Brown and it was Matt's responsibility to ensure that that the video looked as close to the original as possible. This involved a lot of work to ensure that the video had an authentic 80's feel to it.

The video debuted on the evening of Comic Relief on Friday 18th March 2011 and is available to download and buy now. A portion of the money raised by the sale of the single will go to Comic Relief to help with their tireless charitable work in the UK and Africa.
