Sumners develop unique RED camera workflow
What started life as ‘science project’, in house grader Jamie Parry has developed a unique application that manages a RED camera workflow for Avid in a MAC environment.
‘Jamfuze’ is an application that allows Avid editors to work in a traditional ‘offline/online’ workflow using any Avid resolution they wish, on RED based projects.
It manages a ‘relink’ process for finishing at any Avid HD resolution, so can easily be used in any Avid finishing environment – e.g. Adrenaline or Symphony.
Currently this is for use on in house projects, but the potential to release it for a wider audience is being looked into !
